Giving FAQ's
Why do we give?
God is the ultimate giver who gave the most precious gift imaginable - His Son Jesus - to die on the cross for our sins. Our lives are transformed by the gospel of Christ. Your giving supports the church operations and allows us to reach others with the gospel of Christ.
What is tithing all about?
The tithe is a Biblical principle of giving 10% of your gross income to God. Most Christians obey this command by giving to their local church. Malachi 3:10 encourages you to give your tithe to the Lord and He will bless you for your obedience.
How can I give?
If you attend a service in person, there will be an opportunity for giving. Online giving is also available by clicking here. You can also give by mail by sending a check to our church address: 11300 Wilcrest Green Drive, Houston, TX 77042.
What does our giving support?
It takes financial resources to accomplish the work God has called us to do. Our tithes and generous offerings enable WHCC to fulfill its mission to Engage, Establish, Equip, and Empower. Our giving funds the daily operations of the church, fuels in-house projects, outreach events and supports many missions around the world.
